Raggedy Button Annie is a sweetheart, wearing her wonderful button necklace!! She is made from a Polka Dot Pig Primitives pattern. Thank you for sharing this great design, Julie!! Another great new doll on Simply Primitives is Raggedy Daizy Mae, made from a design by Maureen of Sweet Meadows Farm.

Wally and his dog Woof are available on The Primitive Gathering in my Annabelle's Attic shop. Wally is a great boy raggedy, a design by Julie of Polka Dot Pig Primitives. Wally's little pup is my own design. Raggedy Annie and her Star are available here, too!! This raggedy is another Polka Dot Pig Primitives design, with an Annabelle's Attic touch!

APRIL RAGGEDY BLESSINGS TO ALL!!

Spring has sprung for many, and snow is coming for others!! Welcome to our world!! I love both, so I am content!! Here at 6,000 feet in the Colorado Rocky Mountain Front Range we have a bit of both.....Spring green leaves, tulips and daffodils....and snow on the way!! That is Spring in Colorado, and I LOVE it!!

Gosh! Nearly April??? Can't be true!! But it IS true!! My goodness!!! I have never had a busier year in my entire long life!!

First of all, thank you so much to all of you that have signed up on my mail list!! I am way behind on sending news, but I appreciate your patience. I hope you will check in here on the blog for the latest and greatest news, too!!

There are new raggedies available on a variety of sites, and I hope you will find time to take a peek!! Maybe one of these gorgeous girls will find a home with you!! Simple Annie is available over on Simply Primitives. She is an Annabelle's Attic/Crows in the Attic Primitives original design, and soon to be a pattern, too! She is dressed in a simple homespun frock, and is as precious as can be! A few other great dolls are available on that same site, too!

ANOTHER NEW RAGGEDY PATTERN!!

I have been working hard to get more of my designs into published form, and tonight I finished another of the primitive style raggedies!! Her name is Prissy, and she is a prim gal for sure!!

Prissy measures just about 16" tall, not including the length of her raggedy hair. My model is made from muslin, but she would be a great doll to make from osnaburg, too!

Prissy is made in the time-worn, ragged style, with one button eye not quite securely attached! You can stitch yours on securely, though, if you wish!! :) I wanted Prissy to look like she had been well used and well loved!!

You can find the pattern available here, both in epattern and mailed printed pattern form. Prissy, the model for the pattern, is currently available here!!

Where does time go? And this is retirement?? hahahaaa!!! I have taken on more tasks than time in the day allows, but I am having fun!! So all is good!! I will hope to do a better job of keeping this blog up, though. This is pathetic, not to mention embarrassing!!

Raggedy world has been in full swing, with some new raggedy patterns designed, and many new raggedies listed on my various selling sites! I hope you will find time to stop by and take a peek!!

My newest raggedy design (and the model doll is available as well!) is the primitive style Raggedy Maggie Rose! Look for the pattern in epattern form here, and the finished doll here!! Remember that all my pattern, including the raggedy designs, are published under my name Crows in the Attic Primitives!!

My apologies for not doing a much better job of keeping my raggedy blog updated and exciting!! Perhaps 2011 will be a better blogging year for me!! It's a goal, for sure!!

As we quickly move through the month of December, having spent time in November thinking about what we are grateful for, many of us think of December as a month of giving.

In the event that you are still looking for a raggedy to give to that special person, I have a few left in my inventory! Over on Simply Primitives I still have a precious little Christmas raggedy, made from a Sweet Meadows Farm design, and a wonderful little angel Annabelle.

On The Primitive Gathering I have two more little Christmas Annabelle raggedies, too!

My newest raggedy pattern release is a precious little annie ornie, suitable for Christmas, Valentine's Day, or any time of year, too!

A New Raggedy in the Making!!!!!

I've been working for a week or so on a new raggedy, and she is finally coming to her final point of completion!! If I could just get her little apron the way I want it, she would be finished!!!

I really like her size and shape, and feel she is definitely a "keeper"!! I have chosen to call this series Attic Raggedies, and will not be naming each one. I will leave that up to YOU!!

However, I do believe that I will make them in a limited edition.....just 25 of them....so they will come to you SIGNED and NUMBERED as well as DATED, of course!! Each one will be just a bit different, too. When I have the 25 complete, than I will destroy the pattern.

Where does the time go???!!! I have been busier than ever it seems......and there just are not enough hours in the day!! Although I have not been terribly creative the last couple of weeks, I have had a booooming business on my supplies site on Ebay.....Ebay ID: palmpanda4ever

Today I have been working on a new attic raggedy.....she's all ready for some clothes, which I hope to finish up tonight!! Be watching for her!! She's of the old style, with a time worn, aged look!! :)

As we in the Colorado Rockies brace for a big Spring snow, I hope the rest of you are looking at Spring flowers, green grass, and sunshine!! Can't complain, though...we need the moisture, and I actually LOVE snow!! Yes, that's true!! We have hardly had any this winter here at 6,000 feet in the Front Range, so I am looking forward to the BIG DUMP!!!! The morning weather person is saying we can expect anything from ONE to TWO FEET!!!! YIKES!!!!

Hopefully this finds all of you enjoying the onset of Spring in your area....or at least the thoughts that Spring is right around the corner!! Here in the foothills to the wonderful Colorado Rockies, the weather has hardly been winter, and Spring may have already sprung!! HA!! Time shall tell!! March and April are supposed to be big snow months....but.......what can I say???!!! These warmer temps have been nice!!

Happy Halloween!! It is hard for me to believe that 2008 has progressed to this point in time already!!! Where has the year gone?? Whiz!! Flew right on by!! My show was a super success, with lots and lots of prim and raggedy dolls and other creations being given new homes!! It was wonderful to have return customers from last year, looking for that special doll for themselves and others!! My gosh!!! It is already May!!! Time flies when you're having sooo much fun makin' raggedies!!! And have I ever been makin' those raggedies!!! FUN!!! FUN!!!!

I hope that you will stop by one or all of my many raggedy venues and check them out!!! I have also been working toward getting some of my raggedy designs into published form...but the process is slow.....and tedious......and I have NOT made much headway....but am headed there!! I have come to the conclusion, the same conclusion that I had come to when I was a kindergarten teacher.....I need...yes NEED, an admin assistant!!

Although it is May, we here in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and up above as well, had another taste of winter on May lst....snow, big huge wet flakey snow....falling down and covering up the signs of Spring....but voila!!! Today is back to looking like Spring again!! I love the magic of Mother Nature!!

The debut of my raggedies on Lemon Poppy Seeds, in my shop called Annabelle's Attic, has happened!!! YEA!!!!! I have given you just a taste of what will be found there in my little shop, and hope that you will venture on over and take a look!! Someone is shopping now...and has put two dollies in her shopping cart!! Whoooooo!! Whoooooooooo!!! How exciting for the dollies that will have new homes!! Thank you so much to those of you faithful customers from afar!! I love knowing that the dollies are going to loving homes, and especially homes with other dollies for them to play with!! In just a few more days, Annabelle's Attic will be opening a Poppye Shoppe on the cool site Lemon Poppy Seeds!!! YES!! One of my opening listings will be this wonderful black raggedy, made from one of my designs, and ready and awaiting a new home!! She is made from muslin that has been painted, stained, baked and sanded for the primitive look. She has a stitched face, perle cotton hair, and button eyes. Her dress and pantaloons are made from coordinating 100% cotton prints and have been stained and baked as well! She has little raggedy stockings and black shoes that have been painted on, and baked and sanded. This little raggedy is about 15" tall, and can hang or sit. She is available for $34 which includes Priority Shipping in the USA!!

MEET PARTY GIRL PATTI!!

Party Girl Patti is ready for a celebration!! She has her party dress on, as can be seen in the cute print of party hats and party phrases such as "Celebrate" and "Life's a Party"!! She has wonderful 'loons of a pink print featuring squares and dots. Patti is a grand 17" tall! Her face is stitched, and she has great black button eyes. Her deep raggedy burgundy hair is handspun 100% wool, and has been securely stitched to her head. Patti's socks and shoes are handpainted, and she has been nicely stained, baked and sanded for the prim look!! Patti is made from my own design, which hopefully will be published soon! Patti will probably live with me until she debuts when Annabelle's Attic opens on the upcoming site Dandelion Darlings! However, should you desire to take her home, she is available for $42, which includes Priority Mail shipping with in the USA.

DEBUT OF THE ALTER EGO BLOG!!!

I'm sure that everyone has an alter ego. Some just don't let theirs out!! In an attempt to become more organized, I have decided that I would have a separate blog for my raggedy world side of me!! My original blog, Caw! Caw! (my Crows in the Attic Primitives blog) will remain as my main blog location, and I will post mostly raggedy stuff on this blog!! Sounds like a plan to me!!
